With a doctoral degree in Youth Development and over a decade in youth justice, my background bridges juvenile justice forward to youth justice, a broader umbrella beyond the formal legal system. My work is grounded in an ecological understanding of youth development to reduce and minimize the impact of risk factors and to promote protective factors within and around young people to increase the likelihood of thriving.
I have stood in front of many faces, virtually and in-person, as university instructor, training facilitator, and conference presenter. I bring years of experience developing curriculum and delivering engaging trainings in a variety of formats. I can help you with designing agendas, delivering trainings, presenting on your behalf, or anything in-between.
By building trust and working in partnership, we can co-create research and evaluation designs to answer your questions. We will define success, identify metrics, and utilize methods that align with your goals and community. In the end, you have evidence of success and we have added to the body of knowledge of what works.
